BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
This summer's 50-year reunion of the East High Class of 65 was such a success, plans are in the works for a floating reunion in November 2016!
Perhaps the most dominant thread of conversation we heard at the various events was “we should do this again…and not wait for the next 5 or 10 year interval…like how about next year?”
Another dominant conversation thread was the generally positive response to the suggestion that a reunion be planned on a cruise ship…in the Winter… in a Tropical environment!
Thus was born ...
EAST HIGH 50TH REUNION II, THE SEQUEL
Recognizing the need for planning time (noting as well that we all need to start checking off the items on our bucket lists) we have begun organizing a Reunion Cruise for next November (November 5-13, 2016 to be precise). That date should give everyone plenty of planning time; and importantly, it will afford everyone a chance to arrange a booking with Princess Cruises before that particular cruise (#633) is sold out.
We plan to set up another event in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, for the evening of November 4, 2016; a Bon Voyage Dinner.
REUNION CRUISE
We have booked an 8-Day cruise of the SOUTHERN CARIBBEAN on Princess Cruises. The cruise originates at Ft. Lauderdale stops in Bonaire, Aruba and Curacao.

The ship leaves Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 4:00PM and returns Sunday, November 13, at 7:00AM. The Voyage is #633 and details can be found at thelink below.
We have set it up as a group cruise, so when you call to book note the following instructions we have from Princess:

In view of the great success of the Golden Corral dinner that Dave Lucas organized for the reunion last June, we plan to follow Dave’s formula with a dinner in Ft. Lauderdale the night before the Cruise. A simple, no sign-up affair designed to be informal but loads of fun (perhaps we can even get the Golden Corral in Ft. Lauderdale). It will be a gathering point for those booked on the Cruise. And for those who can make to to Florida, but are not booked on the Cruise, it will be a chance to participate in a send-off party.

NEXT STEPS
The only thing it takes for this event is to contact Princess Cruises and book passage on Cruise #633 … before it is sold-out!
Prices start as low as $898 for the entire 8 day cruise. We have absolutely no idea how soon, if at all, this cruise might sell out, but checking on a booking as soon as you are able to determine you want to attend seems prudent. Typically the less expensive rooms are sold-out first.
