The 50-year reunion of the East High class of 1965 will take place June 25-27, 2015:
Thursday, June 25, 2015, 5-9 pm: Banquet at the Golden Corral, 4520 Union Square Drive (corner of Tudor Road and C Street). The charge for dinner is $14.79. But if you come before 4 p.m., you can get in on the lunch charge of $9.59 and hang out till the banquet starts.
This event was put together by Dave Lucas, who is also soliciting images for a slide show during the banquet--anything of East High, grads of the class of ‘65, or Anchorage in the early 1960s. You can get them to him by email or by snail mail on a CD, DVD, or flash drive. Contact Dave at dll38sf@mtaonline.net.
Friday, June 26, 1 p.m.: Tour of East High, guided by Principal Sam Spinella. He'll also, we're advised, be happy to sell us masses of East High swag!
Friday, June 26, 7 p.m.: No-host cocktail party/mixer at O’Malley’s on the Green, 3651 O'Malley Rd. No registration or sign-up required--just show up. This one was actually put together by the West High reunion group, so we thank them for the gracious invitation to us former crosstown rivals!
Saturday, June 27, 2-6 p.m.: Barbecue at Jerry and Nancy (Wimmer) Wertzbaugher's place. The address is 1111 W. 12th Avenue (Yes, deep in the heart of West High territory, but think of it as a friendly invasion!) Google Maps will be happy to show you where it is.

Our theory is, the events above will be enough for most folks and, of course, people who want to plan other get-togethers among themselves for the following Sunday are very much encouraged to do so.
