The Wertzbaughers have kindly compiled information on cruises to and from Alaska that dovetail with our 50-year reunion next year. The details are below.
To recap, the reunion will consist of two events: An East High tour on Friday, June 26, 2015, and a barbecue at the Werztbaughers' on Saturday, the 27th.
The Wertzbaugher's findings:
One-way cruises from Vancouver B.C. to Anchorage have become very popular and affordable. They typically take 7 days, stop in a number of Southeast Alaska ports and give up-close views of glaciers, whales and other wildlife.

Several northbound options offered by Holland America Line and Princess Line would dove-tail with our reunion dates.
Holland America Line
Zaandam leaves Vancouver, B.C. on June 14, 2015 and arrives Anchorage (Seward) on June 21.
(priced from $899 per person)
Princess Line
Star Princess (Voyage # 9518) leaves Vancouver, B.C. on June 13, 2015 and arrives Anchorage (Whittier) on June 20.
Pacific Princess (Voyage # K514) leaves Vancouver on June 15 and arrives Anchorage June 22.
Grand Princess (Voyage # A519) leaves Vancouver on June 20 and arrives Anchorage June 27 (early enough to make the afternoon reunion barbecue).
Both Holland America and Princess also have southbound one-way passages for those preferring to schedule their cruise-related weight gain until after he reunion.
Note that cruises listing an "Anchorage" destination actually land in either Seward (Holland America) or Whittier (Princess). You can arrange transport to Anchorage via the Alaska RailRoad or Company buses.
The train voyage is most scenic, but it is also the most expensive. It is also possible that if class members sign-up for a cruise and notify us sufficiently in advance, we will be able arrange a pick-up run among volunteer class-members.
